Valeoria Network

Block and Entity Limits

To ensure optimal server performance and balanced gameplay, Valeoria Network enforces specific limits on blocks and entities. These limits are essential for maintaining a smooth experience for all players.

Block Limits

Hoppers: 750 per land.

  • Description: This limit applies to all hopper blocks within a single land claim. Exceeding this limit can negatively impact server performance.

Containers: 1000 per land.

  • Description: This includes all types of containers, such as chests, barrels, and shulker boxes. The limit is set per land claim.

Item Frames: 150 per land.

  • Description: Includes both standard and glow item frames. This limit ensures that item frames do not excessively contribute to server lag.

Pistons: 250 per land.

  • Description: Both sticky and regular pistons are included in this limit. Pistons can cause significant server strain, so this cap is essential.

Note: These limits are enforced per land. Attempting to bypass these limits by using adjacent lands or building in the wilderness violates general rule 1.

Entity Limits

Overview

To maintain server performance and gameplay balance, limits are placed on mobs (mobile entities) and vehicles. These limits control the number of each type of entity that can exist within a 7x7 chunk area.

Limit Categories

  • List A Mob Limits: Each type of mob listed can have up to 15 individuals in a 7x7 chunk area.
  • List B Combined Limits: All mobs listed in this category contribute to a combined limit of 60 individuals per 7x7 chunk area.
  • Vehicle Limits: Specific caps are set for different types of minecarts and boats, as detailed below.

Reasoning: The separation into two groups helps prevent the removal of spawner-generated mobs due to the presence of other nearby mobs. This allows players to enjoy their hard-earned spawners fully!

Refresh Rate

Limit Check Frequency: Mob and vehicle counts are checked and adjusted every 30 seconds to enforce these limits.
